The parish general meeting agenda included an opening prayer, welcome, introduction of the pastoral council, an update on the parish website, and a review of the plans for renovating the church. The renovation plans presentation discussed necessary repairs to the church, the architect and site plans, interior and entrance designs, funding sources including savings and PSA rebates, donation options, project costs of $3.1 million, and progress to date of $687,000 with a 2012 goal of $1.6 million.
Worship is a lifestyle, that expresses itself in extravagant and lavish service of the Lord. In this message we discover 6 key aspects of David's lifestyle that were affected by His worship of God. We take a close look at the Tabernacle of David and how the Church is a prophetic fulfillment of its rebuilding. We live in an hour when God is calling His people into a place of continuous worship and intercession, that will result in a great harvest of souls.
How important a Long range Plan for you? is it necessary to make a Goal? according to Albert Einstein "if you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to Peoples or things" it is my prayer that this presentation will be an encouragement that you will pursue your Goals in life! God bless
If you have been doing your research, you may have realized that some Christian rehab centers and sober living environments are Christian in name only. At Homes of Promise, we pride ourselves on being different than the rest.
God is reviving the Church to a new place of intimacy through passionate worship. David reveals to us the heart of a worshipper. True worship is an expression of a heart that is awe of God's greatness. It is an overflow of a heart that is hungry for God, for His presence. True worship is an expression of a heart that is pursuing holiness as worship cannot take place outside of holiness. True worship comes from a heart that demonstrates undivided devotion in good times and bad, since the God we worship in unchangeable. Let us worship on earth as it is in heaven!

2013 vision cafe power point final revisedAlbert Soto
This is the presentation for our very first "Vision Cafe'" at the Bayside of Lincoln Campus. We are a very new campus location and our Ministry Team is setting the course for 2013.
The North Roanoke Baptist Association has made enormous progress, but as we look into the future, there is much that needs to be done to become a healthy, effective organization. It is time to take another step to fulfill our potential. In the future, association ministry will once again be the essential organization for cooperative in Southern Baptist Life.
We have very capable pastors and ministry leaders serving on our various ministry teams. They can develop innovative ideas for ministry; but only God knows the strategy for our unique circumstance which will strengthen churches, unite us in ministry, and enable us to fulfill the Great Commission. As we seek Him by praying together and dare to depend upon Him to guide us, He will give direction. We will see God working in our circumstances by opening new doors of opportunity and bringing new people and resources across our paths. When we then take a step of faith based on what God has revealed, we sill see Him do the miraculous. This is the amazing adventure of living in obedience to Him.
In a world that is becoming more confused and disoriented in the darkness of sin and desperation - this level of obedience will be required in order to have an effective witness of the power of God.

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
