This document outlines the vision for a church to be like the church in Antioch described in Acts 11-18. It aims to be strategic, scriptural, spiritual, sympathetic, synergistic, soul-winning, and sending. It details why the church moved downtown to impact more people, plans for renovating the first floor, and asks members to help through prayer, attendance, bringing others, voting, and giving to fund the $7 million project. Construction is slated to begin in May with the first service in September.
This is a guideline for a sermon delivered on the evening of Sunday 12 July 2015 at Cape Town Union Church, the city site of Church on Main. It is a discussion on the passage from 1 Peter 2 v 9 with particular focus on the concept Peter mentions of 'the royal priesthood'. Its consists of a series of observations and the argument that Christians may have a tendency towards misunderstanding our identity as members of the royal family of the King of Kings and what royalty means in His Kingdom. We have been given specific talents, treasure and time to serve people and planet while holding our relationship with the Lord as something personal, intimate and committed.
According to Leonard Sweet, "Missions is the family business…" But for every business to succeed, their needs to be a clearly defined business goal, business plan, and well trained workers for the business. The question is, are you in the family business? This talk was given to the men of Christ Fellowship McKinney on September October 12th, 2013. I would be blessed to present it to the men of your church.

In this sermon, we'll examine how we often use the word "church" to refer to a building. But this creates passiveness in us. God wants us to be active--he is actively forming and shaping us into his holy temple where he dwells. We need to be active, to participate, and to add value.
