The short film tells the story of a man named Nick who is experiencing paranoia and hearing voices in his head. As he waits in the doctor's office, the voices grow more disturbing and tell him that people are watching and coming to hurt him. When the doctor takes Nick into a dark room and leaves him there alone, the voices continue to torment him by saying he is at fault and will be trapped there forever. As Nick breaks down crying in the dark, the voices suddenly stop except for one final word - "Paranoid?". When Nick lifts his head, a dark terrifying figure jumps out and attacks him, ending the film.

2. FADE IN:
INT. RECEPTION OF DOCTORS. DAY
Nick has his eyes closed. He is listening to the voices
in his head whilst waiting to be called into the doctors
office.
Reversed background music. Progressively louder echoes of
clock ticking.
EXTREME CLOSE UP
NICK’S PARANOIA
(whispers overlapped)
Look behind you! I’m everywhere.
They’re going to kill you. They’re
staring at you. All of them.
They’re coming for you! You need
to leave. Go! Run! Are you
listening? What’s wrong with you?
Are you… paranoid?
(laughing)
Nick opens his eyes. He looks extremely distressed and is
breathing heavily. The progression of the sound comes to
a halt as Nick opens his eyes.
LOW ANGLE SHOT LOOKING UP TO DOCTOR FROM NICK’S
PERSPECTIVE
A doctor with a plain, scary mask on is standing in front
of him with his arm out to help Nick up.
HIGH ANGLE SHOT FROM DOCTOR’S PERSPECTIVE
Nick takes his hand, and stands up
PAN OF NICK FOLLOWING THE DOCTOR
Nick turns his head and sees a receptionist with the same
plain mask on, reversed music picks up, dark figure
subtly shifts fast. Creepy whoosh sound enhances this.
Whispers and reversed music continues to next shot
CLOSE UP OF NICKS REACTION
Nick looks scared, and eventually turns his head and
walks out of shot. Reversed music and whispers die down.

SLOW PAN
Nick walks out of the reception to a room, but as the pan
ends the back of the dark figure appears on the right of
the shot. (Turns into over the shoulder)
INT. DOOR AT A CORRIDOR. DAY
MID SHOT
Nick arrives at a dark room with a heavy door but before
he can turn around the doctor pushes him in and locks the
door.
INT. DARK ROOM. DAY
Nick is confused and knocks on the door multiple times in
desperation.
NICK
(Shouting)
No.. What are you doing? You can’t
do this! Help! Please! I don’t
belong here! Get me out! No!!
The room is very dark with only light from the distance
to show how distant he feels. The reversed music builds
up again, the whispers start, and they overlap. Nick
sinks to the floor crying
NICKS’S PARANOIA
(quietly but not
whispered)
Look what you’ve done! This is all
your fault. Now what will you do?
You’re stuck here! They’re going
to get you! They hate you! You’re
all alone… You poor thing.
(Laughing)
I see you! The walls are caving
in. Your life is over. You are
getting smaller and smaller.
You’re going to die in here! This
is your fault.
Whispers and reversed music continues to next shot
CLOSE UP SHOT

4. .3
Nick’s face is buried in his arms hugging his knees and
he cries more, and suddenly the sound stops completely. A
single word is said inside of his head.
NICK’S PARANOIA
…Paranoid?
His head slowly rises, confused as to why the whispers
have stopped.
PERSPECTIVE SHOT (JUMPSCARE)
Nick lifts his head quickly and paranoia appears as a
dark figure suddenly in front of his face, the monster is
terrifying and leaps at him, roaring.
Music speeds up intensely and high pitched screeching is
included (lasts about 1 second)
All music stops, the shot sharply cuts to black.
END.
