MobiHealth is a spin-off company from University Twente that was founded in 2007 to develop telemedicine services. It has developed a MobiHealth Services Platform (MHSP) that allows real-time and periodic patient health data to be securely transmitted over wireless networks from mobile devices. One application developed using this platform is BP@Home, which enables home blood pressure monitoring for hypertension patients following clinical guidelines. BP@Home is expected to improve patient care through more accurate diagnoses and increased treatment compliance. MobiHealth aims to commercialize innovative telehealth solutions through collaborations with healthcare organizations and research projects.
