8. Admission Requirements
• University degree or a two-year college diploma in any discipline
• Applicants who have partial university degree completion and who have a
minimum of two years work experience relevant to the program will be
considered
• Proficiency in English

9. Paralegal Diploma Overview
Our Paralegal Diploma program prepares students to pursue a career as a
professional paralegal, duly licensed by the Law Society of Ontario (“LSO”).
Upon graduation, a paralegal can work as an independent provider of legal
services, in a law office, as a provincial offences prosecutor or within a
corporate environment, as well as a host of other options.
• CCBST Paralegal programs are authorized to provide, amongst other things,
legal services in tribunal practice, residential landlord and tenant law and,
civil litigation within the limit of the Small Claims Court. Students receive:
 Industry Internship
 A Diploma course accredited by the Law Society of Ontario
 Qualification for admission to the Paralegal Licensing Process
 Preparation for the LSO Paralegal LICENSING examination
