CRA Investing
Based on the support the US Treasury has given
to banks recently, regulators are looking even
more closely at banks’ CRA investments
Banks need to meet CRA requirements or expect
to be written up on next CRA Exam
3
CRA Investing
Investing in CRA qualified investments can be:
• Profitable
• Rewarding to your community
• Rewarding to your employees
• Uncomplicated
• Low risk
4
CRA Investing
Common Bank Goals:

to the agency conducting the CRA Exam (OCC, FED, OTS, FDIC)
• Provide necessary documents to complete credit files to satisfy
Safety & Soundness exams

investments
