Prosanta Bhadra is an artist who graduated from Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata. He creates semi-realistic paintings including human portraits and nature scenes using mediums such as charcoal, paper, and oil. Some of his works depict themes of hidden sorrow, the happiness and sadness of life, poverty, and violence against women.
