The Pacific Collection is a carefully composed array of seven pre-set stain colors, applied to any natural wood veneer. To illustrate the effect of each of the stain colors on light, medium and dark species, please see the illustrations of: Natural Birch, Red Oak and White Maple in the attached PDF brochure.
This document provides information about an interior/exterior water-based paint with a melamine finish from the 4300 series by PARA. The paint is formulated for interior surfaces requiring excellent scrubability, mar resistance, and durability, and can also be used for exterior trim and furniture. It offers advantages like easy clean-up as a water-based product, excellent adhesion and durability, washability, stain resistance, and compliance with VOC standards. The paint can be used for new or maintenance work on interior and exterior surfaces like walls, trim, doors, furniture, and exterior trim and furniture.
This document discusses various types of dyes used for different textile fibers, including their classification, application methods, and suitability. It covers direct dyes for cellulosic fibers, azoic dyes which form insoluble colors within fibers, vat dyes which require chemical treatment, sulphur dyes for dark shades, and reactive and acid dyes for protein fibers like wool and silk. Each dye class has different properties in terms of color range, fastness, ease of use, and fiber compatibility. The appropriate dye must be selected based on the fiber and desired color and performance characteristics.
The document is a letter from a company that specializes in fire retardant decorative products. It introduces their products and projects. They offer creative freedom while prioritizing safety. Their core business is translating designs into three-dimensional spaces. They have a wide range of fire retardant materials permitted for public areas and ships, including carpets, polyurethane flooring, ceiling and wall coverings, artificial leather, and high pressure laminate. They can print custom designs on most materials and manipulate images.
Azo dyes contain an azo group (-N=N-) that bonds aromatic compounds. They are mainly red, brown, or yellow. The process involves first treating fiber with a napthol component, then a diazotized base component to form the insoluble dye within the fiber. This makes azo dyes very fast to washing. They have excellent lightfastness but poor rubfastness initially until treated with soap. Common diazo components provide different shades from orange to blue. Azo dyes have good colorfastness and washfastness.
The document discusses the Green Home collection by My Decorator, an interior design company that offers eco-friendly and stylish products for homes. It states that their experts can help incorporate sustainable products into a home's decor in a way that suits the homeowner's personal style, whether traditional, transitional, or modern. It promotes that going green does not mean sacrificing sophistication or style.
Razib Chandra sutrader presents on Azoic dye. Azoic dye, also known as Napthol, Magic and Ice color, contains an azo group (N=N) and is produced by reacting a Diazocomponent and coupling component (Napthol). It dyes cotton fabric and has good wash and light fastness though poor rubbing fastness. Dyeing cotton with Azoic dye involves a three step process of Naptholation, Diazotization, and coupling.
This document summarizes the key details of the Para Premium 900 Series Interior Water-based Paint in the Flat Finish. It is a water-based, low-lustre interior paint with great hiding power and a non-yellowing formula. The paint dries rapidly, has low odor, and complies with Canadian VOC standards. It is suitable for walls in living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms and can be used for new work or maintenance on surfaces previously painted with water-based or solvent-based paint. Thorough surface preparation is required prior to application.
Incorporating printed fabrics in interior decoration and acoustic panelsDr.Mahmoud Abbas
Acoustic printed fabrics are commonly used in interior spaces to reduce noise and improve sound quality. These wall panels use fabric to control interior design while also reducing sound. The fabrics absorb sound waves to diminish echoes and reverberation. When selecting fabric for acoustic panels, it is important to choose a breathable material that allows sound to pass through to the sound-absorbing core. Properly integrating acoustic printed fabrics can enhance interior environments through sound absorption and decorative design.

The document also classifies vat dyes and outlines the steps of vat dyeing techniques, including vatting, oxidation, and after-treatment. It provides examples of indigo and anthraquinone vat dyes and how their chemical structures relate to solubility.
Wood interiors may provide health benefits in hospitals. A study examined the effects of wood, nature elements, and artwork in patient rooms. Focus groups found preferences for material variety and contrasts. An online survey showed intermediate wood use was most liked in patient rooms. A hospital study found no significant differences between rooms with paintings, nature, or wood on patient outcomes like pain or stress. More research is needed on how nature benefits health in different contexts.

Premium Finishes
The Pacific Collection is a carefully composed array of seven pre-set stain colors,
applied to any natural wood veneer. To illustrate the effect of each of the stain
colors on light, medium and dark species, please see the following illustrations of:
Natural Birch, Red Oak and White Maple. (over)
The coating process produces no VOC emissions and contains no formaldehyde. This
finish is non-flammable and does not influence flame spread rating or smoke density.
The coating contains ultraviolet inhibitors keeping the finish “water white” (clear)
while protecting veneer surfaces and slowing the natural aging of the wood. All stains
are organic earthen pigments and are 100% colorfast. The Pacific Collection is also
antibacterial and will not support the growth of bacteria on the surface of the door.
Pacific Collection applications include stain and transparent top coat. The finishes
are applied by skilled technicians in a tightly controlled production environment and
exceed TR-6, AWI UV cured specifications, the architectural industry
standard. Choosing one of our standard stain colors gives you the assurance of a
uniform finish and reduced lead times (as compared to custom color matches.)
In addition, Lynden Door also offers an unlimited range of custom color finishes to
match and complement any project. (Please submit a minimum 3” x 4” color sample
for custom color matches.) Inquire for information on Lynden Door’s outstanding
Ultraviolet Transparent (no stain) protective outer coatings.

Wood is a natural material with varying color and grain patterns, even in veneers taken from the same tree. The appearance of the finished doors can vary due to these characteristics. The photos shown above are examples of this
variation, in veneers of the same cut, same species.
