file click on the button «File
rename»
After that, we go to renaming
section, where we will see the
following groups: name and
extension
(Name and extension) and the
file list (File List)

“Add file” button is used to
select one or more files.
“Add folder” button - makes it
possible to select the desired
folder by pressing the "OK" all
files placed in the folder will be
added to the list for renaming.
“Clear” button - clears the list of
selected files.
“Delete” button- removes the
selected files from the list.

7. MASK RENAMING NAME

Button «[N] Name» - means
insert a new name of the old
name, can be completely
replaced by the new name
Button «[YMD] Date» - inserts
the name of the file creation
date
Button «[C] Counter» - using this
option we can add numbers to a
name in the order
Button «[hmc] Time» works
similarly to «[YMD] Date» but it
inserts not only the date but
also the time of file creation

8. EXTENSION (EXTENSION)

«[E] Ext» - allows to insert file
type.
«[C] Counter» - adding this we
add the button to expand the
counter

9. REPLACE SEARCH (SEARCH & REPLACE)

Search (Search for) - allows you
to find the text in file names
(such as spaces, numbers, etc.)
Replace (Replace with) – in this
item specify implications, which
we want to be put instead of the
mentioned during searching
(Search for)one in the filename.

10. UPPER / TENDER REGISTER (UPPER / LOWERCASE)

No change - leave everything
unchanged.
All in lower – to make all letters
in file names small (lowercase)
All in Upper – to make all letters
of filenames large (upper case)
First letter in Upper – to make
first letters of files large
Beginning of Word in Upper –
to make first letters of each
word file names large.

CASE LETTERS IN FILE NAMES, SUCH AS:

11. SET COUNTER (DEFINE COUNTER [C])

THERE IS THE ABILITY TO CUSTOMIZE THE COUNTER IN THE RIGHT FORM HERE
It starts (Start at) - indicates
which number the counter will
begin counting (for example "1")
Configure on (Step by) - can
point to what value the
following number (for example
"2") will change
Digits (Digits) - specify the
number of digits to be allocated
to the counter and filled a zero
"0", if the files which we want to
rename are more than 1
thousand it is better to choose
greater number (for example,
“5”)

If all settings fit you well –
press Rename button (Rename)
- files in the same folder will be
renamed as they were before.

Without leaving the application
you can view files that have
been renamed, and if something
does not suit, return to Rename
Manager and click on the
cancel (Rollback), all changes
will be canceled and you will get
the opportunity to correct errors
and necessary changes in the
configuration.
From renaming folders Rename
Manager works similarly to the
above file, so choose the
correct folder, and rename them
with pleasure.
