The kingdom divided after King Solomon's death due to King Rehoboam's harsh policies. The northern kingdom of Israel had a series of wicked kings who led the people to idolatry. The southern kingdom of Judah had some godly kings like Hezekiah and Josiah who destroyed pagan places of worship, but also many wicked kings. Both kingdoms suffered invasion and exile due to their disobedience to God.

33 The Resurrection
Jesus resurrected from the dead on the first day of the week, Sunday. His disciples and Mary Magdalene discovered his tomb was empty and saw angels who said Jesus had risen. Jesus later appeared to his disciples and others, proving he had been resurrected with a glorified, physical body. His resurrection ensures that all who believe in him will also be resurrected to eternal life. Jesus then ascended to heaven and will one day return in the same way.

3) God's word accomplishes his purpose of creating both physical and spiritual realities, with the spiritual creation being the ultimate goal.
