3.  Sight: The ability of the brain and eyes to detect light, color
and distance of objects.
 We use our eyes to see.

4.  Taste: When we put something in our mouth, this sense
allows the tongue and brain to detect one of FOUR
receptors.
 The four taste receptors are, sweet, salty, sour and bitter.
 We use are tongue to taste.

5.  Smell: We can recognize a wide variety of smells and
odors. Some smells are pleasant and some are not!
 We use our noses to smell.

6.  Touch: While the other four senses (sight, hearing, smell,
and taste) are located in specific parts of the body, your
sense of touch is found all over in your skin.
 Hands, feet, arms, face, legs, etc…

7.  Hearing: The ability of the brain and ear to sense sound
waves and vibrations.
 We use our ears to hear.
