Master Food Preserver, Barb McGuffie, in collaboration with Our Town Rocks
Oct. 1st
: Freezing
• Practice how to properly freeze fruits & vegetables
• See what equipment is helpful/needed to freeze foods
• Take home a sample for your freezer
Oct. 8th
: Canning Tomatoes
• Learn equipment, ingredients, and principles needed for
safe home canning
• Hands-on practice
• Informal setting
