Heist films center around groups planning and executing a theft. Hood films deal with urban African American issues and culture involving crime. Legal dramas focus on trials after a crime. Mob films spotlight characters involved with the Mafia. Mystery films follow detectives investigating crimes through clues and deduction.
Costumes
Our film opening will feature a police officer with a costume and props similar to the example, including a walkie talkie, hat, and handcuffs. We will try to arrange for a real police officer. For our film, we will conform to the stereotype of most police officers being white and try to get a white officer. The detective will wear a similar jacket and shirt to look sleek, authoritative, and prestigious, though the actor does not need to be white but should look mature and old.
