OseeGenius: technical overview From a technical point of view, Osee Genius is a fully compliant pure JEE application and therefore has the following inherited advantages: Portability: no constraints on which is your operating system; Application Server unaware: can be indifferently deployed on a simple Web container (like Jetty or Jakarta Tomcat) or a more complex Application Server (e.g. JBoss, Oracle WebLofic, IBM Websphere); MultiBrowser: graphical components are guaranteed to correctly execute at least on Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome; Scalability: in some scenarios (especially in case of large traffic) it could be necessary to adopt a cluster strategy; Osee Genius components are ready for that use; Performance: this is also an indirect consequence of the prevoius Database unaware: no matter about what is the underlying database as that layer is abstracted using JDBC;
