This document discusses React and Flux. It introduces React as a JavaScript library created by Facebook for building user interfaces. Flux is described as an application architecture pattern for avoiding complex event chains. Key aspects of React covered include using JSX, the virtual DOM for efficient updates, and integrating with other libraries. The document emphasizes thinking about data flow and putting it in good order using Flux. It concludes by recommending enjoying life on a sunny day.

FrontBox - what frontend web development is? Let's discover ReactJS!Marco Pegoraro
Frontend is a branch of development that had dramatically evolved through time and that is evolving even faster when it come to web frontend.
What we learn today will become obsolete quite soon and we need to use today's knowledge to wisely choose tomorrow's learning paths.
In this talk I give you my point of view about frontend, I present FrontBox - a frontend meetup in Malmo, and I give you an introduction to ReactJS.
A Overview on a Basic Git Workflow for beginners and a short outlook to what some approved workflow techniques. Also some Todos included if you want to learn some Basic steps.
dotNet Miami - August 16, 2012 - Windows 8 App WalkthroughdotNet Miami
A team of developers from dotNet Miami recently participated in the Windows 8 Hackation. The output of the event was a Windows 8 dotNet Miami event application. We'll relive our experiences from the Hackathon, review the application and code. We'll also show the server app which consists of Nancy and RavenDB (a NoSQL database). Come with your questions and your curiosity as we review this application full of new technology.
Presented on 10/11/12 at the Boston Elasticsearch meetup held at the Microsoft New England Research & Development Center. This talk gave a very high-level overview of Elasticsearch to newcomers and explained why ES is a good fit for Traackr's use case.

Performance optimization of an application designed using React is a vital factor to consider, especially if you hope to increase the speed of the solution. Full Stack Reactive with React and Spring WebFlux - Switzerland JUG 2020Matt Raible
You have streaming data and want to expose it as reactive streams with Spring Boot. Great! Spring WebFlux makes that pretty easy. But what about the UI? Can you stream that data to the UI and have it be reactive and constantly updating too?
This session explores techniques for making your app fully reactive with Spring WebFlux and React. Mostly live coding, with plenty of time for Q & A in the midst of it all.

Angular 2 vs React. What to chose in 2017?TechMagic
The number of web development frameworks and libraries based on JavaScript continue increasing. The most popular client-side technologies are Angular and React, but you might ask - What should I use?
ReactJS vs Vue.js — What to choose in 2019?Pixel Crayons
JavaScript is one of the most popular languages in the world, and React and Vue are two of the most popular frameworks for JS. But which one is best for development? https://bit.ly/2sDnLTr
5. Virtual DOM
1) Generate whole app DOM with every
single change
2) Do DIFF with actual DOM
3) Change only what is needed for
transition between states
(with optimizations)
6. Not everything is cheap
Some complexity can get in when
interacting with a real DOM
(necessary compromise)
Animations or draggable
(possible but you can shop elsewhere)
Fortunately it is simple to integrate with
other libs
7. Revolutionary?
The idea is probably not genuine
(one example: CodeMirror)
http://marijnhaverbeke.nl/blog/display-updates-in-codemirror.html
But very well put together
(good timing)
Changing how developers can think
about UI development
8. Data Flow
(Re)Think about data flow in your app!
And put it into good order
Stick to it
(there can be exceptions)
9. Think!
Don't drink and drive!
Don't code without thinking!
