The land where Shri Krishna was born and
spent his youth.It is located on the banks of
the Yamuna river. Places of historic
importance abound in Mathura as there are
countless temples in and around Mathura.
The ruins of an old fort, Kans Qila, on the
banks of the Yamuna at Mathura was built
by
Raja Man Singh of Jaipur. Dwarkadheesh
Mandir was built in 1814 in the center of the
town. The temple is dedicated to Lord
Krishna.

This city located in Jamnagar district of
Gujarat was established by Lord Krishna. It is
one of the seven divine cities as per Hindu
mythology. A visit to Dwarka is not complete
without a visit to Bet Dwarka. At Bet, there are
temples of Vishnu (in the form of 'matsya'),
Radha, Lakshmi, Satyabhama, Jambuvanti and
Devaki.
