During my workweek I am clean-clean;
Washing my hands,
Making cheeseburgers
And thinking sparkly espresso and lipstick thoughts.
Weekends are dirty clean;
With chickens and dishes,
Torn jeans just out of the dryer,
Dirt and blood intermingling on my hands
As I weed the thorny roses that
My other personality dreams of receiving.
