I live my life, succumb to age,
For I shall be the wildest sage...
Long feminine fingers with masculine scars
A face whose eyes still seek the stars.
An old mind scattered but may it be swift,
That memories aren’t sent adrift.
Old arms, withered, spade from the earth
Dead plants perchance another birth
When I am too weak to wield my pen,
May I die, but live again.
