- This document discusses how data mining techniques have been successfully applied to various NASA data sources to predict software quality metrics like effort and defects. - However, despite clear success, most of the data sources used in these examples have been discontinued or are no longer accessible. - The main challenge is organizational rather than technological - how can we ensure the valuable lessons learned from this work are not wasted?
