9. Argument 2 It would be cruel to make an embryo, take the stem cells, and discard the embryo after. When you put the sperm with the egg cell, it creates an embryo. Scientists want to use the embryonic stem cells from the embryos for cells to make the new organs. They are finishing a machine that can print organs. This would work because each printer’s spray produces the same size ink print as living cells. Once this machine is complete, people can send in some of their cells, and the scientists will put those in a used ink cartridge and print. They would make a facility just for these special pigs and have scientists working there to remove the organs and send them where they are needed.
