Developing and managing various reports of the company from several DB2 Libraries
(database). Like CTCS (CONTAINER TERMINAL CONTROL SYSTEM), SPACE (Yard Planning) AND
SHIPS (Vessel Planning). Also creating views from all these Libraries and views composition of
above mentioned Libraries files (tables).
TOS Application (COSMOS) maintenance like creating users, groups and granting access
according to their rules in the TOS.
Major Reports Developed:
Export Status summary report: This report indicate which liner, how many manifested, and
how many received and how many cleared. This report is based on Bill of lading. This report is
very much useful for tracking the container status.
Hourly Moves per Crane: This report is how many containers are planned for discharge and
load by which crane. How much is executed every hours when vessel is on berth and how much
total discharged and loaded.
Terminal Departure Report: This report is subscribed to concerned official and liner when
vessel left the berth. This is for total discharged and loaded, how many restowed,
transshipment, all the details like OOG, Hazardous, and tonnage etc.
Last 24 hours report: How many containers loaded or discharged in last 24 hours. And how
many remaining per vessel voyage.
Productivity Report: How many containers stripped and stuffed-back daily shift wise.
Port Authority Reports : This include many reports like PA Daily Terminal Arabic Reports, This
report covers wide range of summary reports, Import Container, export containers in yard, How
many containers waiting for Delivery, waiting for Inspection, waiting for stripping and stuffed
back, Reefer containers, Riyadh containers.
Daily Railway report: This reports is also for Port Authority, It include total rail containers in the
yard, how many loaded on rail in last 24 hours, and other details of container and loading and
discharge.
GST, HST TCT Reports: These reports were very challenging and by grace of God, it is achieved
very nicely. Gate Service Time (GST) it is duration between A-check and P-check of truck
carrying containers.

3. Hauler Service Time (HST): This is CHE (execution Approval by Equipment) time minus P-check
(physical checking time of containers) on the truck.
Truck Completion Time (TCT): This is duration of truck’s time between P-Check and Gate out
Time.
These GST, HST, TCT reports are daily weekly and monthly. Daily reports are detail reports but
weekly and Monthly reports are summary.
There are many reports for export and import container processing. These are mentioned
below.
Daily Import Status, Awaiting Booking, Awaiting shifting from Yard to Inspection Yard, Awaiting
Seal Cutting, Awaiting Stripping, Awaiting Clearance, Awaiting Stuffing, Awaiting Delivery,
Awaiting Loading.
Vessel wise Inspection Nominated and non-Nominated containers Vessel wise dwell days
between discharge, Inspection, Clearance and Delivery and loading.
Vessel Activity Crane Logs, Long Dwell Days for awaiting Clearance. These and many others
report developed and modified by me.
All the above reports are developed using SSRS, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. And as well
Report-Builder 3.0. Query analysis is done using Toad and backend Database is Db2i on iSeries.

Presently, I am working for Monu-tech Information system. This company provides ERP System
for managing of your businesses in retail industry, trading, logistics, manufacturing industry,

King Abdul Aziz City of Science and Technology (KACST)
Since Sep 1997-OCT 14 2008
This is an independent scientific organization administratively reporting to the Prime Minister.
KACST is both the Saudi Arabian national science agency and its national laboratories. The
science agency function involves science and technology policy making, data collection, funding
of external research, and services such as the patent office.
There is Computer Center which looks all the information technology needs of the KACST. I was
the software developer among the various developer works in Computer center. I used to
develop various applications for various department of KACST. Those applications developed,
modified and maintained by me are mentioned below.
1. Atomic System: -
This application is for Atomic Energy Research Institute in the KACST. This application is used
for complete information about radioactive elements used in the KSA, for example issuing the
license to organization which uses radioactive elements, giving certificates to the related
employees working in that field, keeping information import/export of radioactive elements
from outside countries and information details from police department for that radioactive or
isotopes and related employees. All these information’s are stored though this application.
Some portion of above was developed on web using ASP.net 2.
2. Current Awareness Emailing system for library:-
As KACST is a scientific and technological Institute of Saudi Arabia. In this there is big
library for scientific and technological books as well there are lots of magazines

5. subscribed for researcher and for technological persons for their interest of subjects.
Those persons who are members of library and wants to see articles related with their
interest of fields use to choose magazines through software made for that. All articles
heading related with those magazines which he/she subscribed are sent through email.
Note: - Now the part of same Current awareness system has been developed in VB.net.
Articles of the magazines are sent by email using crystal report and exported to PDF and
sent as file.
Employee attendance system (Follow-Up application): - This application is of Follow-up
department of KACST. This application is very much having business logic. This is a menu
driven application with complex reports.
2 Multilingual Dictionary for scientific Arabic terms BASM: -This application is very useful
for Arabic technical and scientific professionals. This application is like computer based
Arabic scientific dictionary.
3 Scientific Instruments Information System (SIIS):- This application is developed to
maintain information of Scientific Instruments used in the KACST. This application is
used by Measurement and Instruments center of KACST.
4 National Bibliographic Database (English) NBDE (DB10):- This is designed to provide online
information retrieval services that can help to accelerate the pace of research activities in
the Kingdom. This system represent national inventory of Saudi scientific and technical
literature generated in the Kingdom. This application was developed earlier. I redesigned
and developed this again.
5 Library Application system:- In this system there are several modules

of three years. The last semester is of project training. I did that project from India one of the

My project was to develop SlabCatser Metallurgical Information System. This project was real-
time information of steel grade on the basis of chemistry and abnormalities in casting.
