Editor's Notes

  • #2 On 7 November 2004, Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition Forces launched Operation AL FAJR, entering the city of Fallujah in order to liberate it from insurgents. The following series of vignettes and storyboards detail the atrocities, weapons caches, and other instances of insurgent activities that took place in Fallujah and uncovered by Iraqi and Coalition forces while clearing the city. This compilation chronicles these events. (Note: These slides are accurate as of the date annotated and are subject to change as more details are determined from operations in theater)
