This document summarizes the evolution of OpenNebula from 2005 to the present. It highlights the major new features added in each release, including support for Xen and KVM virtualization, EC2 and OCCI APIs, image repositories, VMware integration, high availability, self-service portals, and more. It notes that users are missing out if they do not upgrade to take advantage of these new capabilities.
