OpenHedgeFund is a platform that allows individual investors to create and share algorithmic trading strategies. Members can evaluate strategies created by others, subscribe to top-performing funds, and automate trades through brokerage integrations. The platform aims to empower retail investors by providing tools traditionally reserved for hedge funds, but at lower costs.

Traditional Hedge Funds charge a standard fee of around 2% per year of your investment plus a
20% of the profit. However, OpenHedgeFund will offer both free and low-priced strategies !

We interviewed different types of investors and we collected the following points of view:
• Lack of trust on hedge funds (gigantic black box)
• Active traders want to have more control of their investments
• Traders tend to trust other traders suggestions
• Traders would like to avoid the two & twenty Hedge Funds charge
• Traders would like to check their investments online
Based on these information we come up with the idea of the OpenHedgeFund, an online community
that empower the crowd to create a “fund”, which the crowd can then evaluate, rank and use it for
real trading.
