● Governments need help, they can't progress alone.
● Development cannot practically happen in modern
countries without the participation of NGOs, private
sector, and indiveduals.
● Political involvement.
(Egyptian elections as an example)
● Awareness
● Transparency.
● Managing expectations.

10. Data Vs. Info
● You can extract information from data, not vice
versa.
● Statistics, graphs, analysis, .. etc are all info
● Data means raw data.

11. INNOVATION
● Hen or Egg ?
● Hackathons
● Out of the box may mean solutions for other
unnoticed problems.

12. How ?
● Legal frame : Allows or insures
● Infrastructure for gathering information.
● Data Delivery.

13. OPEN GOVERNANCE
● Expose your data.
● Encourage innovation.
● Open channels for feedback.
● Involve indiveduals, NGOs, and businesses.
