OpenAIRE is an initiative aimed at supporting compliance with European Commission open access policies, providing infrastructure for the identification, deposition, access, and monitoring of EU-funded research articles. It offers a repository for articles that cannot be stored in institutional or subject-based repositories, ensuring worldwide visibility and access. OpenAIRE also provides tools for evaluating research outputs and encourages compliance through institutional support and metrics evaluation.
