To see the on-demand settingswe need to
enable the feature from module control. From
the main menu go to:
 SETTINGS
 SETTINGS

Scroll down to On-Demand Module and click
the ACTIVEoption.

 Before a user fillsout the on-demand form
the system needs to know who they are. The
unique custom identifierfulfillsthis purpose
 You must create a custom fieldfirst. You can
callit “StudentID,” “Lunch Room ID,” or any
identifierthat makes sensefor your
business
 Clickon the ADDCUSTOM ID linkbelow the
drop down select
 When the custom identifieris made
go back to the SETTINGSpage and
selectit from the drop down options

 Selectthe PRACTITIONER/ TUTOR /
TEACHERplaceholder from the drop
down options. If the placeholder
account does not exists please click
on the Add Tutor link below the field.
 It’s important you set the availabilityfor
this placeholderaccount. The availability
is the hours of operation for your on-
demand service!
 If you want to provide on-demand
serviceson Wednesday’s from 7:00 pm to
10:00 pm add these times to the
placeholdersavailability
 Go back to the SETTINGSpage and select
the placeholder user from the drop down
options

 Sinceon-demand servicesoperate with an online environment you can selectthe
location you use for online instruction.If you do not presently have thistype of location
then add one now
 You may want to create a specific“On-Demand”location to help you segment these
sessionsfrom your regular online sessions

 Servicesare used to listthe “grades” or “program” options
for the end-user (student or client)
 We recommend you create a new set of servicesfor on-
demand services
 Do the following when creating a service:
Enter a service name followed by a pipe “|” and then a descriptor:
 Grade 5 | On-demand
 Grade 6| On-demand
 Grade 7| On-demand
Under Service Visible, select “Visible to admin and staff only”
If you have a minimum or maximum time add those in the CONSTRAINTS
tab
Under the STUDENT BOOKING tab make sure to assign those subjects /
skills to the service!
 The subjects youassign will be the subjects listed afterthe userselects a
programorgradelevel!
 When the servicesare createdselect them from the
SELECTSERVICEdrop down of the On-Demand Settings
menu

 The SelectLanguagesoption refers to the type of languageinstruction that’sprovided.
Examples of languagesare:
English Language Instruction
Spanish Language Instruction
French Language Instruction
 If you only provide instruction in one language selectthat languageonly
 Skillsor Subjectsare used to denote language instruction
 If you do not already have skillsor subjectsset up likethis pleaseadd them now. You
can clickon the Add Language link
 From the drop down options selectthose
languagesyou wish to show

 If the header is removed the user
will not see youronline booking
menu options. You may want this if
you are working with a 3rd party
 If you don’twant touse audioand
visual within Lessonspace you can
set it to chat modeonly
 If this is “No”the practitioneror
tutormust end the session. To
prevent over-billingwe recommend
the “Yes” option
 The weekly update e-mail is sent to
the administratoror primary district
each week with a summary report

district.For example: school or department

case scenario

When you have signed up for a Lessonspaceaccount you need to retrieve your API Key.
To find the API Key go to:
 SETTINGSfrom the Lessonspacemain menu
 DEVELOPERfrom the top horizontal menu
 Copy and Paste the API Key

Once you have your API Key go back to Bizstimand clickon the:
“I HAVEA LESSONSPACEACCOUNT.”
A modal window willappear. Copy and
paste the API Key and clickSUBMIT

There are a number of settingsfor Lessonspace. For each settingthere is an information
box to the right detailingits function. Please read the information carefullywhen
determiningif a settingis desired.Remember to clickSUBMIT when done!

The ONLINE BOOKING settingmust be turned on to use On-Demand Services.
Navigateto:
 SESSIONS(main menu)
 ONLINE BOOKING (main menu)
 Choose ENABLE for STEP 1: Enable Online Booking
 A success notificationwillshow in the bottom-right of the page
If you want to use On-Demand Services but do not
want to show the online booking tool you can change
the On-Demand Setting for “REMOVE HEADER FOR
ON-DEMAND PAGES” to Yes. You will have to copy the
URL for the On-Demand starting page or generate a
link using our On-Demand API method.

Here is an example of an on-demand page with no menu navigation.Your large logo and
contact information is displayedat the top.
Notice the custom client
messageaddedto the left-side
of the page. You can addany
messageyou like or no
messageat all.
If a clientcomes to this page without being authenticated it will ask
them for their unique custom identifier.
If you are working with 3rd parties like School Districts it will ask
them to select their District and School.

mind or a practitioner / tutor

When the clientclicksCONNECT NOW they will be shown the following message.
 Cancelled requestsare saved
by the system and stored for
subsequentanalysis

When a clientsubmitsa request for On-Demand servicesthe following happens:
 For the first 30 seconds the system willcheck to see if there are any practitionersor
tutors on the client’sfavorite list(assignedto them)
 After 30 seconds the request is made availableto all practitionersor tutors
 After 2.5 minutes their request is color-coded Orange
 After 5 minutes their request is color-coded Red
 If the clientcloses down the browser or navigatesto another webpage their request is
stillactive
If they return before a practitioner or tutor accepts the request the request will continue to Lessonspace
If they do not return before the request is accepted and more than 3 minutes have passed the request is
cancelled and the practitioner or tutor will be notified the client is no longer present
 Cancelledor dropped requests will be tracked by the system
 When a requestis acceptedby a practitioneror tutor both parties willbe redirectedto

Tutor’s can find the On-Demand requestspage at:

Tutors can filter the requests by
grades (services), subjects (skills)
and language instruction.
There is also a refresh button if the
tutor wants the most up-to-date
request list.
This list is updates every 30 seconds
by default.

Tutors can review the question if one was provided by the client.If the clientuploads a file
likea homework sheet they can review the file in a document viewer.

* The tutorwill not see the contactinformationif they do not have
thatpermission. The same goes forcustom fields.

The unique custom identifierfulfillsthis purpose  You must create a custom fieldfirst. You can callit “StudentID,” “Lunch Room ID,” or any identifierthat makes sensefor your business  Clickon the ADDCUSTOM ID linkbelow the drop down select  When the custom identifieris made go back to the SETTINGSpage and selectit from the drop down options

If the placeholder account does not exists please click on the Add Tutor link below the field.  It’s important you set the availabilityfor this placeholderaccount. The availability is the hours of operation for your on- demand service!  If you want to provide on-demand serviceson Wednesday’s from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm add these times to the placeholdersavailability  Go back to the SETTINGSpage and select the placeholder user from the drop down options

Bizstim | www.bizstim.com | 1-844-588-2200  Sinceon-demand servicesoperate with an online environment you can selectthe location you use for online instruction.If you do not presently have thistype of location then add one now  You may want to create a specific“On-Demand”location to help you segment these sessionsfrom your regular online sessions

Bizstim | www.bizstim.com | 1-844-588-2200  Servicesare used to listthe “grades” or “program” options for the end-user (student or client)  We recommend you create a new set of servicesfor on- demand services  Do the following when creating a service: Enter a service name followed by a pipe “|” and then a descriptor:  Grade 5 | On-demand  Grade 6| On-demand  Grade 7| On-demand Under Service Visible, select “Visible to admin and staff only” If you have a minimum or maximum time add those in the CONSTRAINTS tab Under the STUDENT BOOKING tab make sure to assign those subjects / skills to the service!  The subjects youassign will be the subjects listed afterthe userselects a programorgradelevel!  When the servicesare createdselect them from the SELECTSERVICEdrop down of the On-Demand Settings menu

Examples of languagesare: English Language Instruction Spanish Language Instruction French Language Instruction  If you only provide instruction in one language selectthat languageonly  Skillsor Subjectsare used to denote language instruction  If you do not already have skillsor subjectsset up likethis pleaseadd them now. You can clickon the Add Language link  From the drop down options selectthose languagesyou wish to show

You may want this if you are working with a 3rd party  If you don’twant touse audioand visual within Lessonspace you can set it to chat modeonly  If this is “No”the practitioneror tutormust end the session. To prevent over-billingwe recommend the “Yes” option  The weekly update e-mail is sent to the administratoror primary district each week with a summary report

You may have a greeting,additionalinstructions and/or provide links for more information.You can alsochoose to keep this empty.  When a student fillsout the on- demandforma pop-up message will appear on the screen. By defaultthey are toldto “please wait forthe next availabletutor.” You can addyour own customized message here

This link will appear at the bottomofthe on- demandformseen by the client orstudent

Navigateto:  SESSIONS(main menu)  ONLINE BOOKING (main menu)  Choose ENABLE for STEP 1: Enable Online Booking  A success notificationwillshow in the bottom-right of the page If you want to use On-Demand Services but do not want to show the online booking tool you can change the On-Demand Setting for “REMOVE HEADER FOR ON-DEMAND PAGES” to Yes. You will have to copy the URL for the On-Demand starting page or generate a link using our On-Demand API method.

Notice the custom client messageaddedto the left-side of the page. You can addany messageyou like or no messageat all. If a clientcomes to this page without being authenticated it will ask them for their unique custom identifier. If you are working with 3rd parties like School Districts it will ask them to select their District and School.

Bizstim | www.bizstim.com | 1-844-588-2200 When a clientsubmitsa request for On-Demand servicesthe following happens:  For the first 30 seconds the system willcheck to see if there are any practitionersor tutors on the client’sfavorite list(assignedto them)  After 30 seconds the request is made availableto all practitionersor tutors  After 2.5 minutes their request is color-coded Orange  After 5 minutes their request is color-coded Red  If the clientcloses down the browser or navigatesto another webpage their request is stillactive If they return before a practitioner or tutor accepts the request the request will continue to Lessonspace If they do not return before the request is accepted and more than 3 minutes have passed the request is cancelled and the practitioner or tutor will be notified the client is no longer present  Cancelledor dropped requests will be tracked by the system  When a requestis acceptedby a practitioneror tutor both parties willbe redirectedto Lessonspace
