1. ONCOPEP COMPLETES CLINICAL TRIAL TO
TREAT SMOLDERING MULTIPLE MYELOMA

2. INTRODUCTION
 A founder and managing director of EG Capital in New
York City, Norman “Norm” Gretzinger supports multiple
charitable initiatives, including Schools for Salone and the
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Through EG
Capital, Norm Gretzinger led the series B round of
financing for OncoPep, a cancer research organization
based in North Andover, Massachusetts.
OncoPep concentrates on the development of
immunotherapeutics to prevent the progression of cancer,
extending survival rates and restoring the quality of life for
cancer patients. One of OncoPep’s recent projects was a
phase 1/2a clinical trial that involved a multi-peptide
vaccine to treat smoldering multiple myeloma.

3. ONCOPEP
 Tested under the name PVX-410, this vaccine targets
specific antigens on the surface of multiple myeloma
cells to prevent multiple myeloma before it manifests.
In order to establish the safety and tolerability of
PVX-410, OncoPep began clinical trials in January of
2013 with a study of 13 patients. OncoPep presented
updated study results in December of 2015. At the
conclusion of these trails, no deaths or other
reportable events had occurred. The trials also
yielded no clinically significant abnormal laboratory
test results.
