This document outlines 4 challenges facing holistic medicine: 1) Lack of communication between healers, 2) Small market for holistic healing courses, 3) Less visibility and trust of alternative vs. traditional medicine, and 4) Lack of high-quality holistic health information online. It proposes a solution of creating an online, non-profit encyclopedia called OlaPedia.org to address these challenges by facilitating healer knowledge sharing, promoting holistic healing, and providing trusted holistic health information for patients. Contributors are invited to participate in building this resource.
