This document contains a summary of a Cardiotocography (CTG) trace of a mother in active labor. It includes 4 questions: 1) Mention 4 observations in the CTG trace. 2) The interpretation is that the CTG finding is normal, with early decelerations present which are normal during labor as the fetal head causes compression and increased intracranial pressure. 3) The cause of this type of CTG trace is normal compression of the fetal head during descent in active labor. 4) Three steps to correct any problems are: reposition the patient, maintain hydration and oxygenation; continue CTG for 30 minutes to check for persistent or abnormal features;
