It all boils down to effort. College is a matter of effort. You are building
a castle in your mind, and the more work you do today and throughout
college, the better the castle will serve you in the future.

First of all, are you
going to every
class? Like, every
day for for every

Second, do you go straight
home and relax, or do you go
somewhere with no
distractions like a library to
go over the material and
homework? You should go to
a library.

Third, are you doing homework? If it's 90% of your grade: do
your homework. If it's 50%: do your homework. 1%: do your
homework. 0%: do your homework. Every assignment, every
problem, every time. If you finish a problem, and don't

Fourth, get into a study group. Are you an introvert? Send
out a mass class e-mail. If no one responds, say something
at the end of a class. If that doesn't work, stalk your fellows
and 'accidentally' horn in on their group. Don't struggle
alone. Find others

days. I usually devote
4 to 6 hours after
each class for
studying / homework
/ projects.

Sixth, look for lecture .pdfs from other universities. . . Look for
their videos, and their mock exams and the solutions of 'em.
Trust me, they are EVERYWHERE. You live in the Age of Big Data.

be allowed to know how MIT or Stanford is teaching mixing
problems.
