This study examined the relationship between teachers' assessments of school climate and the number of years they had worked with an elementary school administrator. The researcher distributed a survey to teachers measuring dimensions of school climate like supportive, directive, and restrictive principal behavior. The survey results were analyzed based on years of experience with an administrator (1-4 years, 5-10 years, 11+ years) and total teaching experience. The analysis found no significant relationships between school climate and years with an administrator or total experience. However, supportive principal behavior and principal openness were found to be negatively correlated with years worked with the same administrator.
