My occupational life

2. FRIENDS. (BELONG)
Friends provide a support system, people to have fun with and experience new
things with. We enjoy going on holidays together and just catching up over coffee.

3. FLATTING (BELONG, DO)
Dunedin is my home away from home, and my flatmates provide me with my
family for while I’m down here. Flatting involves helping to maintain a household
together including cooking ,cleaning, paying the bills.

4. EXERCISING-DANCING/GYM. (DO)
Exercise provides me with a time out
from other things. I enjoy going to the
gym regularly and dancing(salsa)
which I recently begun with my friend
Ella. Exercise is enjoyable and gives
me a sense of achievement when I
beat a personal best or learn a new
dance move.

5. ADVENTURE. TRAVEL. (BECOME, DO)
I have a passion for travelling and experiencing new things. It
provides excitement and a greater knowledge about the world. This
year I have been to Australia and LA and attended theme parks in both
places. When I finish my degree I plan to do an OE possibly in

6. GOING OUT (DO, BELONG)
I enjoy going out with friends as it is fun and a good way to catch
up and meet new people. Gives me a sense of belonging within a
group of friends.

7. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY STUDENT. (BECOME. DO)
Being an OT student Is helping me on my way to become a qualified
occupational therapist. Also provided me with a platform to make new friends. It
is something I love and am passionate about and has given me new skills and
knowledge.

8. FOOD (DO)
I enjoy all things related to
food, cooking, eating and trying
new things. I have a sense of
achievement cooking a meal
and serving it to my flatmates or
family. I also enjoy going out for
a meal with people as it is a
good opportunity to try new
things and socialize.

9. PART TIME WORK (DO, BECOME)
Worked at the local swimming pool since I was 15. Also work at a bar in
Dunedin. Provides me with extra spending money, a sense of achievement
for doing my work well and a good way to meet people as I have made

10. FAMILY (BELONG, BE)
My family act my support and they are always there for me. I have
a huge family(this is only half of them) and I love having big family
get togethers and going away on holiday together.
