The web committee has set up a social networking site for members: http://nationalyachtclub.ning.com/ All NYC members will be able to set up a home page, post pictures and host a simple blog. The idea is that this can be used to network, to coordinate crew, trips and outings, as well to share stories. Give it a try!

3. What are the goals for a social network at the NYC? Goals A successful Social Network for the NYC must achieve three goals: Allow members to discover and build relationships. Allow members to communicate and share content. Allow the club to maintain control.
