The first thing that should be noted is that psych nursing is a recent academic option, which is highly relevant that more people are trained in it and help to broaden and deepen the scientific foundation of the care it offers. Although the psych nurses are already able to carry out different activities without the need for another health professional to indicate them, it is important that they can acquire greater independence so that their contribution is even greater, which is my first professional development goal. Therefore, the degree in psych nursing must be strengthened, with studies and evidence that allow the framework of the work of those who practice it to grow and, in turn, encourage its professionals to intervene promptly to avoid complicating the medical situation of a patient.
I would like to be supportive, have a vocation for service, be responsible, and be organized. It is these basic qualities that will allow me to develop a nursing career. The organization and responsibility would be oriented there because the nurse, by nat.

Introduction Nurses face challenges in practice. They have inadequate support, equipment, time, and funds. It becomes hard for them to cater for patients with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive problems. These patients require participatory care delivery This includes the help of nurses and friends, or family members. Also, nurses lack appropriate skills, education, and knowledge to help such patients. Through the appropriate interventions they can approach the patients and initiate participatory care delivery This project offers a way through which the nurses can get help to overcome those limitations.

My name is ---------- I have been practicing nursing for many years. What I have come to recognize through experience is that what people or even literature consider to be a preserve for advanced practice is essentially what is demanded in everyday nursing practice to offer comprehensive and quality care. This demand has been accelerated by the changing dynamics and demands in health care include an increase in population that also cause increase in primary and other healthcare services, inefficient healthcare, rise of chronic conditions, high costs of care, knowledgeable population demanding better care, and prolonged lifespan that is creating a high population of aged people with chronic ailments (Hillb & Parkera, 2017).
To address the emerging issues, nurses must have the ability to tackle complex cases through complex decision-making spanning across the many system levels from clinical to organizational to political level, serve in leadership and consultancy capacity, support innovation and promote evidence-based practice. They should also be able to collaborate with other healthcare professions and to navigate the intricacies of the current healthcare system to offer the best care possible. These are the roles of an advanced practice nurse role that affords them greater control when providing direct and indirect clinical care. They can only be executed by acquiring an advanced practice major. As Hillb and Parkera (2017) notes, advanced practice nurses undertake advanced degrees enabling the acquisition of clinical competencies, complex decision making skills, and expert knowledge based for expanded practice to enable them practice nursing at a high level. I believe that is why I chose an advanced practice major.
The role of FNPs as is the case of most NPs in primary care has become apparent. As …highlights, this is in terms of providing primary care services in remote/rural areas, providing primary care practices equal to the standards of physicians and meeting the high demand of primary care services from the general population attributed to strides in universal coverage (Barnes, Richards, McHugh, & Martsolf, 2018). EBP is a key driver of improved patient outcomes by helping come up with the most current, best working interventions. Nonetheless, it is not a standalone factor; it must be supported by proper leadership, collaboration, scholarship, resources, organizational culture and cost effectiveness. In addition to this, FNPs should have traits for successful NPs. These include emotional stability, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, attention to details, tenacity and having a mind of inquiry. Woo, Lee and Tam (2017) research shows that allowing advanced nurses, including FNPs more control over providing direct care to maximize on them result in better quality of care, coordination of care and clinical outcomes.

Hildegard Peplau’s Interpersonal Relations Theory
Peplau’s interpersonal relations theory is the mid-range theory that captures what nursing ought to be. In this regard, it is the assertion that nursing is a therapeutic interpersonal process where nurses work with others to make health possible (Alligood, 2018, pg. 45). It is, therefore, the expectation that nurses work together with their patients, understand their health needs, and work together to ensure that the patients go back to their health status.
The rationale for the choice of this theory is because it appreciates that nursing is an interpersonal process; an assertion that is coherent with what the principle of evidence and patient-centered care expects from nurses. The exchange between the nurse and the patient is what allows a nurse to access critical information which in turn helps a nurse to realign the care towards securing better care for the patient. Moreover, the interpersonal relations theory also expects the nurse-patient relationship should be a learning experience (Smith, 2019, pg. 78). This is a phenomenon that is coherent with the fact that nursing skills need to be constantly improved. As a result, the nurses must keep on learning about health needs as this ultimately helps improve relevant skills by nurses.
Consequently, Peplau’s interpersonal relations theory demands that a nurse ensure that securing of health for the patient is done in a manner where the patient is an active party to the treatment process decisions. Therefore, my critical thinking will be comprised of both professional expertise together with the insights collected from the patient. This will ensure that the final decision is sensitive to both the principle of evidence-based practice and the patient’s taste and preferences when it comes to health services. As a result, from this approach to critical thinking, the final decision-making pr.

While raising two adolescent girls, this author is working on her Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree (PMHNP).
Psychiatric disorders within these professions are multifaceted and rising at an alarming rate. My most recent project is hosting a website for my non-profit organization, sharing my research and fundraising for mental health therapy for local MP and FRs; my efforts supported by their respective employers. During personal interactions, many have expressed to me that for psychological symptoms, they are directed to contact their respective employee assistance program (EAP). Unfortunately, combined with the already perceived stigma of seeking help, the true reluctance was the absence of an EAP clinician with first-hand experience in these unique occupations. These concerns significantly limit the number of “relatable” practitioners therefore, as a trusted partner, incorporating over 20 years of experience with MP and FRs, I will change this for all of us.

Personal Philosophy of Advanced Nurse Practice Comment by Laura Wood: Title goes hereNo heading. Remember, the title of the paper is not a heading.
Human beings are viewed as unique life experiences. My personal philosophy of the advanced practice nurse is one who is compassionate, empathetic, well-rounded both in education and life experience. Communication, in abstract patterns, are just one of the aspects of an individually high level of complexity, as well as diversity, which sum up to further advance the knowledge of self and environment (Metaparadigm Concepts, 2014). It is important, not just for advanced practice nurses, but all nurses, to understand the value of every human being and to respect their decisions regarding their own health as well as providing appropriate guidance and coaching to live a healthy and full life.
Valued Personal Concepts Comment by Laura Wood: Level 1 Heading Here
Included in the metaparadigm concepts, involvement are the areas of nursing, person, health, and the environment, thus they further comprise the advanced-practice nurse (APN) and the concepts are as follows:
Nursing: when speaking in terms of nursing we look at what we do as nurses which includes our actions as well as interventions. This involves applying our professional knowledge already gained as well as direct and indirect patient contact (Thompson, 2017).
Person: involving family and close friends, including other caretakers for a patient, and that a nurse is engaged in the care of the patient across the lifespan (Thompson, 2017).
Health: this can be a relative term to each person as an individual and it is based on the patient’s perspective and understanding that each person has a different perspective, or idea, of healthy versus not healthy (Thompson, 2017).
Environment: can be any number of things which can include internal and external factors which can have an impact on a person’s health and this could include, but not limited to things such as genetics, culture, relationships, geographical location, etc., (Thompson, 2017).
Nursing Metaparadigm
Critical thinking skills, current research which translate into knowledge and skills into the nursing profession and thus must be goal-oriented, deliberate and systematic. Understanding that each person is an individual, we need to treat them as such and take into consideration the environment from which they come from as well as their understanding of their own health and what is healthy and what they perceive as being healthy versus unhealthy. Including family members as well as close friends in the care of our patients can truly benefit the patient if they h ...

Professional Goals
Short-term goals and their impact
The short-term goals that I will set include; becoming a certified board member, choosing the patient population to serve as well as evaluating potential employers carefully. Becoming a certified board member will help me become more confident as a nursing practitioner, as well as boost my marketability in the competitive industry. In an effort to ensure that I become a certified board member in record time, I will undertake to apply for the exams before I leave RN and ensure that I am able to sit for them within three or four months after application.
The selection of the patient population encompasses the finding of the perfect position from which I will be able to grow and I will thus have to decide on a specific population that I will serve such as cardiac or the old age people. This will help ensure I am able to easily network within that given specialty area. The third goal that I will set is critical evaluation of the potential employers in which I will undertake to ask about job expectations, such as work hours, patients to be served as well as growth opportunities such as training programs. This will help ensure I land an employer that offers growth opportunities as well as an enabling environment to hone my skills as a nursing practitioner (Masters, 2017).
Long-term Goals and Their Impact
These goals include; get my name out there, engaging in research as well as advancing my qualifications. In an effort to increase my marketability, I will ensure that I stay in touch with the various individuals that I completed my practice with and who are likely to help with recommendations in the event I decide to advance career-wise. I will also ensure that I engage other nursing practitioners who are in the field whether older or even younger and who might help in giving advice as well as recommending career opportunities that might help in my growth. The engagement in research will help advance my understanding of contemporary issues and nursing topics while also giving me the chance to increase my marketability (Masters, 2017). This will add more value on my portfolio and thus increases my chances of advancing in the field. Academic qualifications will play a crucial role in ensuring I continuously hone my skills as well as improve my employability standings; it will also help me improve my leadership skills thus prepare me for a role as a nursing leader.
Strategic Plan
In an effort to ensure that I am able to achieve these goals I will set in place a strategic plan that will address the short-term as well as the long-term goals. In an effort to ensure that I mee ...

Re: Topic 5 DQ 1
Leadership in nursing is a key part in providing high quality healthcare to patients and in creating a conducive environment where staff are empowered. A nurse leader basically shows the other nurses the way and acts a bridge between them and the administrative leaders of the hospital. One of the responsibilities of a nurse leader is advocating for great patient care and needs of their unit nurses (Al-Dossary, 2017)by publicly supporting them. Another role is setting clear goals and accomplishing them successfully as well as building rapport with their followers. Application of creative thinking and problem solving skills should be part of day-to-day of a nurse leader. Other responsibilities include supervision of healthcare delivery, staffing and delegation of tasks to the nursing staff.
Education greatly contributes to nursing leadership skills; therefore, nursing education is crucial. A master’s education encompasses a course in leadership and care delivery which increases the effectiveness of leadership nursing as opposed to a newly registered nurse (Al-Dossary, 2017). For one to be an influential and successful nurse leader, strong interpersonal skills such as empathy and openness are very essential. This helps understanding the feelings of the staff and responding appropriately to them. Emotional intelligence is also significant since it leads to positive relationships between the nurse leaders and the staff (Hughes, 2017).This refers to the ability of one managing their emotions and those of others. These traits and more such as flexibility and integrity enhance good patient care, teamwork and promote a healthy working environment for nurses.

One of the most significant factors in empowering and encouraging nurses, who make up the vast majority of the healthcare workforce, to perform at the highest level of their licensure is nursing leadership. American Nurses Association (n.d) describes nursing leadership as "a nurse interested in excelling in a career path, a leader within a healthcare organization who represents the interests of the nursing profession, a seasoned nurse or healthcare administrator interested in refining skills to differentiate them from the competition or to advance to the next level of leadership."
In my experience, one of the formal roles as a nurse leader is charge nurse for the respective department or unit. Although it's normal to concentrate leadership efforts at the top of a hospital or health system, middle-management leaders (such as nurse practitioners) are critical to an institution's progress. They have a direct influence on many front-line caregivers and healthcare staff. One of the formal roles of nurse leaders is the charge nurse for the respective department or unit. In our organization, to hol.

Suds’s bottling production rate is 2,400 cases per week, and the setup cost is $800. The value of inventory is $12.50 per case, and the annual holding cost is 30 percent of the inventory value. Suds’s facilities operate 52 weeks each year. What is the economic production lot size?

2. Cyberphone, a manufacturer of cell phone accessories, ended the current year with annual sales (at cost) of $48 million. During the year, the inventory of accessories turned over six times. For the next year, Cyberphone plans to increase annual sales (at cost) by 25 percent.
a. What is the increase in the average aggregate inventory value required if Cyberphone maintains the same inventory turnover during the next year?
b. What change in inventory turns must Cyberphone achieve if, through better supply chain management, it wants to support next year’s sales with no increase in the average aggregate inventory value?
This course has helped me to gain invaluable insights about the advanced practice nursing roles. I have also been able to master most of the predesignated course outcomes, although I must admit that I require further development in some areas. An important area in which I have been able to learn a lot pertains to the different roles and scope of practice for nurses working in advanced arenas. These arenas include clinical, education, administration, informatics, research, and health policy arenas (Hamric, Hanson, Tracy, & O'Grady, 2014). While I was able to learn that these professionals might have different responsibilities and roles, I also grasped the nature of interdependence between the various professionals and the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration for advancing the profession and ensuring the dispensation of quality care to patients.
From the class lectures and assignments, I also gained a heightened understanding of the core competencies that apply to advanced practice nurses. These competencies can play a central role in improving the quality of care dispensed to patient and fostering the professional development of the advanced practice nurses. Some of the competencies that cut across all APN roles include effective communication, responsive leadership, coaching and mentorship, consultation, teamwork, people development, as well as respect for diversity (Goodman, Reidy, & Cartier, 2012). Among these competencies, the one that would benefit me from further improvement is diversity awareness. To improve my skills in this competency domain, I aspire to find mentorship from my superiors, enrolling in multicultural courses in addition to providing care to diverse patients where I can get firsthand account about dealing with multicultural issues in health care.
As I have further learned in this course, health promotion a.

Now the Earth has had wide variations in atmospheric CO2-level throu.docxhoney725342
Now the Earth has had wide variations in atmospheric CO2-level throughout its long history before the evolution of humans and certainly before the Industrial Revolutions. In terms of the oceans and the Earth's whole history then could you find information to support the coal and oil industry's claims that we're NOT the cause of climate change? Do some research and cite other factors in climate besides CO2 levels that would support your claims. Also read the attached article about the controversy. Remember too that there is a lot of money and certainly politics involved in this issue. Some scientists have built their whole careers on trying to prove or disprove the human connections to global warming.
As you'll see when you do your research the figures for sea-level rise are all over the place. That's because they're based on models that are even more complex than hurricane tracking models (they drive even supercomputers nuts).
Now the term
"sea-level"
is relative. If you check a geologic map you'll see that just about every piece of land on Earth has been underwater at least once. That's why sedimentary rocks are the most common type of land surface rock. Sea-level has been up and down thousands of times in the Earth's long history. We're just living on the "latest edition" of our planet. Also the one thing that I want everybody to learn from this course: we live on the Earth and we certainly affect it but
we

ABSTRACT
Background: Intercultural communication has become increasingly important in nursing due to the cross-border mobility of patients, health professionals and students. Development of cultural competence continues to be a challenge, particularly among professionals such as educators or healthcare providers who work in professions requiring communication across cultural boundaries. Despite challenges in nursing education related to cultural diversity, competence in intercultural communication has been proven to empower students and to help them grow professionally.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to describe clinical mentors' experiences of their intercultural commu- nication competence in mentoring culturally and linguistically diverse nursing students during completion of their clinical practice.
Design: Qualitative study design.
Participants: The participants were 12 nurses who had previously mentored at least two culturally and lin- guistically diverse nursing students.
Methods: Data were collected during spring 2016 using semi-structured interviews of 12 mentors working in specialized nursing care at one hospital located in central Finland. Data were analyzed using deductive-inductive content analysis. The main concepts of the Integrated Model of Intercultural Communication Competence were used during the semi-structured theme interviews and during analysis. These concepts include empathy, moti- vation, global attitude, intercultural experience and interaction involvement.
Results: Mentors stated that empathy motivates them in the development of intercultural communication. Mentors experienced a lack of resources and support from their superiors, which caused psychological and ethical strain and reduced mentors' motivation. Mentors openly admitted that they had experienced fear towards unknown cultures, but that this fear was reduced through positive mentoring experiences and cultural en- counters.
Conclusions: Continuous education on intercultural communication competence could succeed to further de- velop clinical mentors' mentoring expertise, which could have the potential to greatly benefit students, patients and staff. Such education could be designed, implemented and measured for its effect in co.
Now that you’ve seen all of the elements contributing to the Devil’s.docxhoney725342
Now that you’ve seen all of the elements contributing to the Devil’s Canyon enterprise architecture, Justin wants to move forward with developing privacy policies to ensure videos aren’t distributed or uploaded to the net without the consent of the people in them. This opens a much larger conversation: Devil’s Canyon is also in need of a complete security plan, as well as risk assessments.
In a 2- to 3-page rationale and table,
prepare
the following information to present to the Devil’s Canyon team:
Explain the relationship between policies and security plans. Identify potential policy needs, noting Justin’s privacy policy, in relation to the Devil’s Canyon enterprise structure.
Outline the importance of a security plan in relation to security roles and safeguards.
Analyze at least 5 security-related risks/threats that Devil’s Canyon may face.
Assess the probability and impact to the Devil’s Canyon if each risk occurs. Based on these two factors, determine the overall risk level. For purposes of this assignment, evaluate and categorize each factor as low, medium, or high, and create a table to illustrate the risks. For example, a risk/threat with a low likelihood of occurrence and a high impact would represent an overall medium risk.
Consider digital elements mentioned in the designing of the enterprise architecture, such as software, hardware, proposed security measures, smart lift tickets, web cam systems, and smartphones.

CHAPTER 9
3. Suds’s Bottling Company does bottling, labeling, and distribution work for several local microbreweries. The demand rate for Wortman’s beer is 600 cases (24 bottles each) per week. Suds’s bottling production rate is 2,400 cases per week, and the setup cost is $800. The value of inventory is $12.50 per case, and the annual holding cost is 30 percent of the inventory value. Suds’s facilities operate 52 weeks each year. What is the economic production lot size?
CHAPTER 12

Registered nurse openings increase as nurses are retiring and leaving the workforce for various reasons such as burnout (AACN, n.d.). Enrollment increases to nursing educational programs does not meet the demand for nurses (AACN, n.d.). Nursing leader interventions that will impact the shortage is a focus on retention of nurses, attention to safe staffing ratios, and attention to quality care.

I am looking for about 5 pages for both mini-essays combined. The due date will be April 9 by 11:59pm. No extensions.
Questions:
1. Often we attribute cowardice for Hamlet’s lack of action in the face of an obvious call for revenge. Is there some other way to view Hamlet the character?
2. The death of Ophelia comes as a result of the dual grief for the loss of her father and the loss of her true love . Why would you say that Hamlet reacts so radically different to the same circumstances?
3. What would you say is the horror that Kurtz sees in his mind’s eye moments before his death? Is it simply a late late condemnation of colonialism?
4. Marlowe’s lie in Chapter 3 has been written about to death in academic circles. Gather two analytical interpretations of the lie and offer me another way of looking at this climactic moment.

Nur-501-AP4- Philosophical and Theoretical Evidence-Based research.docxhoney725342
Nur-501-AP4- Philosophical and Theoretical Evidence-Based research
Watson’s philosophy and science of caring has four major concepts: human being, health, environment/society, and nursing Butts & Rich, 2015). In Watson’s view, the disease might be cured, but illness would remain because, without caring, health is not attained. Caring is the essence of nursing and connotes responsiveness between the nurse and the person; the nurse co-participates with the person. Watson contends that caring can assist the person to gain control, become knowledgeable, and promote health changes.
According to Watson (2009), the core of the Theory of Caring is that “humans cannot be treated as objects and that humans cannot be separated from self, other, nature, and the larger workforce.” Her theory encompasses the whole world of nursing; with the emphasis placed on the interpersonal process between the caregiver and care recipient. The theory is focused on “the centrality of human caring and on the caring-to-caring transpersonal relationship and its healing potential for both the one who is caring and the one who is being cared for” (Watson, 2009). The structure for the science of caring is built upon ten carative factors. Among them are human altruistic values, faith-hope, sensitivity to one’s self or other, trust, human caring relationship, and promotion of self-expression (.
Watson defines Human being as a valued person to be cared for, respected, nurtured, understood, and assisted, in general a philosophical view of a person as a fully functional integrated self. Personhood is viewed as greater than and different from the sum of his or her parts which are mind-body-soul-connection (Butt & Rich 2015)
The personhood concept in Watson theory of caring implies that patients are not all the same. Each person brings a unique background of experiences, values, and cultural perspective to health care encounter. Caring facilitates a nurse’s ability to know a patient, allowing the nurse to recognize a patient’s problem and find and implement individualized solution on the patient’s unique needs.
Knowing the person allows the nurse to avoid assumptions, to center on the one cared for (Keller, 2013). It also gives the nurse to opportunity to assess thoroughly by seeking clues to clarify the issue that the individual is going through.
The concept of personhood also integrates the human caring processes with healing environment, incorporating the life-generating and life receiving processes of human caring and healing for nurses and their patient. The concept put emphasis on developing a caring relationship with the person as a nurse and listen to the person’ stories to fully understand the meaning an impact of the individual’s condition. This information and understanding helps in the development and delivery of individualized patient centered care. The transpersonal caring theory rejects disease orientation to health care and places care before cure. When the .

Abstract
With obesity affecting approximately 12.5 million American youth,
population-level interventions are indicated to help support healthy
behaviors. The purpose of this review is to provide a summary of
population-level intervention strategies and specific intervention exam-
ples that illustrate ways to help prevent and control obesity in children
through improving nutrition and physical activity behaviors. Informa-
tion is summarized within the settings where children live, learn, and
play (early care and education, school, community, health care, home).
Intervention strategies are activities or changes intended to promote
healthful behaviors in children. They were identified from (a) systematic
reviews; (b) evidence- and expert consensus–based recommendations,
guidelines, or standards from nongovernmental or federal agencies;
and finally (c) peer-reviewed synthesis reviews. Intervention examples
illustrate how at least one of the strategies was used in a particular
setting. To identify interventions examples, we considered (a) peer-
reviewed literature as well as (b) additional sources with research-tested
and practice-based initiatives. Researchers and practitioners may use
this review as they set priorities and promote integration across settings
and to find research- and practice-tested intervention examples that can
be replicated in their communities for childhood obesity prevention.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Professional Development Goals
The first thing that should be noted is that psych nursing is a
recent academic option, which is highly relevant that more
people are trained in it and help to broaden and deepen the
scientific foundation of the care it offers. Although the psych
nurses are already able to carry out different activities without
the need for another health professional to indicate them, it is
important that they can acquire greater independence so that
their contribution is even greater, which is my first professional
development goal. Therefore, the degree in psych nursing must
3. be strengthened, with studies and evidence that allow the
framework of the work of those who practice it to grow and, in
turn, encourage its professionals to intervene promptly to avoid
complicating the medical situation of a patient.
I would like to be supportive, have a vocation for service, be
responsible, and be organized. It is these basic qualities that
will allow me to develop a nursing career. The organization and
responsibility would be oriented there because the nurse, by
nature, has to have an order, for the same reason that in the
career, they develop everything in a programmed and systematic
way (Hasan, Elsayed & Tumah, 2018). Also, empathy with
patients is essential when developing the vocation of a psych
nurse. It has to do with that ability that the human being has to
be able to understand the feeling in others. This is the skill that
nurses develop during the training process and apply it later in
their professional life.
Thus, an outgoing personality is needed more because psych
nurse professionals contact all kinds of people, being they who
are waiting or leaving the doors open for anyone who comes to
a hospital or health center to receive the necessary help.
Normally in a hospital center, the attention is a little greater
than any other job. Nurses tend to have a little more stress
(Grove & Gray, 2018). So, this situation of being mobilized and
noticing the activities they perform are often related to other
types of tasks that can cause exhaustion, which is more
psychological than physical. In professional life, it is almost
similar, they have an activity of situations, and more or less,
they have to project what activity to do in front of each one of
them.
Alignment with Social Change
The alignment of psych nursing to social change is a crucial
step in ensuring that this field has an impact on the healthcare
industry. There has been technological development which has
brought an impact to the way people live and interact. This has
led to various institutions developing values and missions that
professionals have to meet. These values and missions are better
4. identified in unlike other studies where they do not identify
themselves as individuals, they only perceive themselves as a
group within the work team. There is a domestic origin of psych
nursing that contributes to its low recognition, especially of
those who do not use nursing services in the community setting
(Lewis, 2018). Therefore, as a psych nurse practitioner, I will
align my values to social change by giving value to listening,
advice, and monitoring of activities scheduled in mentally ill
patients.
In the framework of the development of computer care services,
I will get closely related to routine and simple care actions,
which means being in an area closer to the most domestic one.
In addition, I will address the complexity of care, especially in
the home care that mentally, dependent and fragile patients
require today. This will open the possibility for the recognition
of my role as a guarantor and a coach in all the social health
areas working in a comprehensive and coordinated way to find
themselves in the place that the patient and his family need.
Conclusion
A psych nurse practitioner is in a privileged place, since he or
she has achieved some visibility. Psych nurses value proximity
and accessibility as an element of value. Besides, they are
recognized as professionals who can help. Therefore, it is time
they work on the idea of being coaches for mentally ill patients
and their families, in fragility, and supporting health promotion
strategies. This ensures their safety in a model self-care and at a
sustainable price. The nursing practice is based on solid values,
very much in the relationship and interaction that can support
the global system as a whole due to its ability to respond to the
needs of the users and of the system itself in the right measure.
