chapter I will deal with the different methods of
impressing the subconscious mind. It is man's faithful
servant but one must be careful to give it the right orders.
Man has ever a silent listener at his side - his
subconscious mind. Every thought, every word is
impressed upon it and carried out in amazing detail. It
is like a singer making a record on the sensitive disc of the
phonographic plate. Every note and tone of the
singer's voice is registered. If he coughs or hesitates, it is
registered also. So let us break all the old bad
records in the subconscious mind, the records of our lives
which we do not wish to keep, and make new
and beautiful ones.

14. The object of the game of life is to see clearly one's good and to
obliterate all mental pictures of evil. This
must be done by impressing the subconscious mind with a
realization of good. A very brilliant man, who
has attained great success, told me he had suddenly erased all
fear from his consciousness by reading a
sign which hung in a room. He saw printed, in large letters this
statement - Why worry, it will probably
never happen." These words were stamped indelibly upon his
subconscious mind, and he has now a firm
conviction that only good can come into his life, therefore only
good can manifest.

Most people would define
responsibility as -

3. Guilt
4. Negative accountability
5. Struggle

29. Responsibility has nothing to do with punishment. True
responsibility means -
• I get to create my life the way I want it.
• I get to experience the best life has to offer.
• I get to choose.
• I get to enjoy.
• I get to be in dominion.
• I get to be free.
• I get to be powerful.
• I get to respond.
• I get to be self-determined.
In fact, I'd say true responsibility could be defined as the most
fun you can have in a human body.
It's spontaneously generating your heart's desire. Living the good
life. A life good and right and true.

30. Here are the specific steps you can take to end it completely.
1. Look at the 'how' and the 'why' and the 'what' of self-punishment, so
you can see your own unique pattern
2. The second step involves looking back to the past, to find the root of
the problem
3. Pay close attention to your motivation and self-talk around
punishment
4. You may need to change certain aspects of your life.
5. Pay close attention to the impact you're having on others.
The ones you love always end up suffering in some way by
your behavior, if you're punishing yourself
Once you open up to loving yourself more, you also
open up to the love around you.
