The capital is Seoul.South Korea has a free republic. About
49,779,000 people live in South Korea and 20% are
Buddhist.South Korea has allot of green sites.They have
mountains,rivers,bamboo forests,etc. The Han River is
a major river in South Korea and the fourth longest river
on the Korean peninsula

5. NORTH KOREA
The capital is Pyongyang. North Korea has about 24,451,285
people. Mount Kumgang wich is an important mountain, is
located there. Yalu River is the longest river on North
Korea and the border between North Korea and China.

7. HISTORY
For a long time,Japan and china have fought for the peninsula.
They both dominated it until the end of World War 2.
Korea got separated in the year 1945.The north part got a
Communist Government because of the soviet union, and the
South part,with help from the U.S got a free republic.
When the U.S troops left,North Korea invaded,That caused the
Korean War (1950-1953).With the help of American and UN
forces,the invaders left.Since that South Korea has a large army
to defend from communist aggressions from the north.

Koreans don’t have a different type of clothing,
they dress like everyone else. They wear shoes,
Slippers,shirts,pants,dresses,etc.

Traditional Korean foods are noted by the amount of side
dishes.
The common ingredients used are sesame oil, soy
sauce, salt, garlic, ginger, pepper flakes,bean paste and
red chili paste
They also have Meats (like fish,chicken,etc.) and rice

15. MUSIC
Traditional Korean Folk Music: metal, string, bamboo, animal skin, wood,
clay, gourd, and stone are the 8 groups that the original instruments are
divided in. There are over 70 instruments used to play this type of music.
This was the first Korean music.
K-Pop: K-pop is just like pop music from here, but it is in Korean. The most
famous video around the world is Gangman Style, which is a K-Pop song.
There aren't any rare instruments for k-Pop, they are the same ones we
know like guitars, drum sets,bass,piano,etc.
