DailySocial in cooperation with JakPat has conducted a survey on non-Credit Card Installment Programs for e-commerce transactions among Indonesian consumers. Our survey has found that although only a small percentage of Indonesian online consumers currently have a credit card, quite a number of consumers have taken advantage of non-Credit Card installment programs.
2. Introduction
Credit card ownership remains low in Indonesia for various
reasons. This is an issue for e-Commerce because credit cards
simplify many processes for e-Stores, since the models and the
methods that integrate with credit cards are so well-established.
Online stores have begun to provide installment programs for
buyers that do not require credit cards. It is expected that
installment programs can increase the buyer’s activity in the
Indonesian market.
This survey seeks to observe and to measure Indonesian consumer
awareness & interest in non-Credit Card installment program.
3. Credit Cards & Multifinance
