Terri placed her daughter McKenna up for adoption 16 years ago when she was 34 years old. She knew that as much as she wanted a child, she could not parent due to emotional, financial, mental and physical reasons. Placing McKenna for adoption was the hardest but smartest decision she ever made. Terri had a semi-open adoption, allowing her to maintain contact through letters, pictures and occasional visits. Though the process of healing from placing her child for adoption was difficult and painful at times, Terri does not regret her decision and is grateful for the relationship she still has with McKenna today.
This document discusses the importance of gratitude, especially around Thanksgiving. It notes that Thanksgiving is celebrated in several countries as both a secular and religious holiday. The document encourages expressing gratitude to others through emails, letters, or in person without hesitation. It suggests reflecting on how far you've come from past difficulties and being grateful for what you've received from and given to others in your life.
A poor boy asked a kind woman for water and she instead gave him a large glass of milk. Years later, when the woman fell gravely ill, the doctor called in for consultation recognized her as the woman who showed him kindness. He worked tirelessly to cure her illness, and when he sent the medical bill, he had written that it was paid in full with that long ago glass of milk.
Jessica Samper had a fun summer where she went to Bush Gardens, the pool, her cousin's house, Vacation Bible School, and parties in Orlando. She also spent time with friends including Dinah, Daniah, Daniela, Jasmine, Savannah, Chloe, Ilana, and Hayley. While she enjoyed sleeping in, no homework, and lots of fun activities, some negatives were her dog dying and having to get up early for events.
This document appears to be a collection of photos and memories from a couple's first two years together. It references celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, trips together exploring nature, and casual moments at home. While there were some troubles and misunderstandings along the way, it acknowledges the many happy and loving moments they shared over the past two years. It expresses missing their partner as they reach their second anniversary.
