8. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
• The objectives of the study were to analyze and to know the decision that a customer
takes before taking an insurance service.
Data source
• Research is totally based on Primary and Secondary Data.
• Primary data has been collected by interacting with various people and through
google form.
Sample size:
• The sample size consists of 30 respondents from Pune.
• Out of which 86.2% people have insurance policy. Other 13.8% people did not have
insurance policy.
Sample Design:
• Data has been presented with the help of Bar graph, Pie chart, line graph etc.
9. ANALYSIS AND FINDING(1/4)
This shows that people prefer to buy the insurance
policy from the agent .That means people are not
aware properly so that they can buy from direct
from agency.
FINDING - This shows people are nowadays
more concerned to take the insurance policy and
secure their future or invest their money.

• This shows that most of the customers buy insurance for securing their life and helping
their family in case of any causality.

. This shows that customers choose insurance on the basis of trust, product characteristics and
services. Since the survey involves more of young age population the services and ease to get
their money and help is more important.

Learning’s:
52% respondents feel protected while having an LIC life insurance policy and 32% respondents feel
secure having an SBI life insurance. This shows people feel protected while having an insurance
policy that is trustworthy, as we all know that both LIC and SBI are the most trusted brands, thus
having a higher percentage.
13. OBSERVATIONS
• No financial planning.
• Many of the people think that insurance is investment.
• Most of the people doesn’t know what are the investment tools available for them.
• Risk taking capacity.
• No awareness.
14. SUGGESTION
• Claims of insurance policies should be given on time.
• Every insurance policy should give their customer an online authentication where they
can be also updated with their policy details and premium.
• Proper campaigns should be created emphasizing on policies that can be trusted, have
great services and characteristics.
