professional reasons.
• Ajai Kumar stepped up as Acting Chair, before election
could be held.
• Election for Chair was held as first item of the agenda at the
NIR SIG.
• Shyam Nair from Sify Technologies was elected as the new
Chair.
• Our community thanks Toshio Tachibana for his service and
acknowledges Ajai Kumar’s willingness to be Acting Chair.
