2. Work Experience
I am currently working as a Kitchen assistant in the Fire Station Creative Café in Dunfermline on a
Saturday since the 29th
of August 2015. I also used to work as a sales assistance for Stevens the
bakery at East end football park which started in February 2014 and ended a year later due to me
wanting a more permanent job as the sales assistant was only one or two shifts a month.
Through these jobs I am experienced and skilled at interacting with customers and helping them with
their specific requirements. These jobs also required me to follow safety regulations at all times due to
the dangerous environment around me.
Activities and Interests
I spend a lot of my free time inputting towards my own scouting experience and also helping younger
cubs and scouts enjoy their experience also. I participate in weekend camping trips throughout the
year which involve group tasks e.g. raft building, pioneering projects, orienteering and water sports. I
also enjoy Hiking with friends and family since of a young age while I had taken part in the Munro
challenge in the last year of primary education which led me to do several more out with school and
scouting and took it upon myself to take my family up several hills they hadn't been up before. I also
enjoy going the occasional swim once in a while as I was a part of a swim club hoping to compete one
day but unfortunately had to stop due to increased study at school. I also enjoy going to see bands as
music concerts are a social event to enjoy with friends and family. I have won a few awards in my
younger years as I was the British Baby champion in Highland dancing, being the chess champion in
my primary and also the runner up in my community award ceremony as the Young hero of the year. I
also enjoy problem solving including electrical circuits and maths equations as this is in the course for
national 5 physics and has been of great interest to me for the past year.
