This document contains 5 photos from the author's life experiences that helped shape their path: 1) Graduating from Columbia International College to learn English and get a diploma to attend university in Canada, 2) Winning a table tennis tournament at age 17 after training 5+ hours daily, 3) Traveling to Canada 5 years ago, their first time, which greatly impacted their decision to stay and study in Canada, 4) Preparing for a class presentation and learning skills like clear voice, eye contact, and demonstrating full content knowledge, and 5) Volunteering to pick fruit for farmers, their first volunteer experience, which taught the value of hard work.

1. This is the photo that I was graduate from Columbia international college.
Because I already got a diploma from China, so the propose that I studied in
Columbia international college is to learn English and get another diploma. So
that I can go to University in Canada. As a result, I learned English and basic
economic and management from this college. This experience has laid a good
foundation for me to studying in centennial college

2. This is the cup that I was winning from a game of table-tennis in my 17 years old. I
was train more than five hours per day before the game. Of cause it was tire, but
when I got this cup, I feel everything I have done is well worth it. And I learned “Pain
is gain”.

3. This is the photo that I was travel to Canada in five years ago. And that was
my first time to Canada. Also, this travel had a great effect on my life, I feel
the culture is a big different between China and Canada in lifestyle. I like to
live in Canada, so that's why I stay and study in Canada.

4. This is the photo that I was preparing for a presentation at home. I bought a
white shirt for this presentation. And I learned some skill to make a good
presentation. For example, Voice should clear, confident with little, consistent
eye contact with most of the audience, presenter should demonstrates full
knowledge of content with explanations. As a result, I make a wonderful
presentation in class.

5. This is the photo that I was picking the fruit for farmers. That is my first time to be a
volunteer in an organization. My job is get the fruit from frees and put in the box.
The job is not simple, because it worked in the sun and sometime bitten by
mosquitoes. Also there were lakes of volunteer, so we have to work day and night.
Finally, all fruit had putting in truck and sell in to marketing. So the farmer earns
some money. And we gratifying to see ours efforts rewarded
