This production of Oliver! at Jerudong International School features over 250 students. The set design was influenced by original illustrations of Dickens' novel as well as the 1948 film adaptation. Over 20 students helped paint the set, which features scaffolding representing Victorian London rooftops. Color palettes include muted tones for the city and pastels for drop scenes. The costume team handmade over 250 outfits to tailor to each actor.

The music program at the school had over 450 students receiving weekly music tuition in 2014. There were many performances and events throughout the year, including recital night which had close to 400 students performing in 27 ensembles. The dance program involved over 160 students in various dance classes and competed in eisteddfods, and the drama program involved building students' skills in areas like voice, physical theatre, and script analysis. It was a successful year for the performing arts programs.

The BRIT School says farewell to two long-serving deputy principals, Lloyd Marshall and Jacqui Pick, who are retiring after over 70 years of service between them. They inspired countless students and staff during their tenures.
The school also hosted workshops for current Musical Theatre students led by alumni working in the industry, covering career options and practical industry skills. A dance piece by Musical Theatre students won a national competition.
Maths students participated in outdoor learning activities during the last week of term like treasure hunts and creating symmetrical patterns on the ground. Exchange trips to Germany, Spain and France provided cultural and language immersion experiences for students.

Maskulinity is a contemporary movement performance project that explores gender. It is a wonderful program to bring to Middle and High school students to encourage discussion and exploration.
Telling and Sharing booklet
The document summarizes a residential project that brought together members of the Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller community over 3 weekends to share their histories and life experiences. The project used various creative mediums like filmmaking, art, crafts, music, and poetry to engage participants and preserve their stories. The organizers viewed it as a successful first step and plan to apply lessons learned to make the next residential an even more inspiring experience.

Duncan is an expert on whales, dolphins, and other marine species who has visited several schools in England. Teachers from three different schools provided feedback praising Duncan's engaging presentations and workshops. The teachers commented that Duncan kept students spellbound and fascinated through his slideshows, artwork, and ability to communicate complex topics appropriately for different ages. He drew students into dialogue, supported their artistic skills, and helped open their eyes to the importance of conservation.

A drama workshop series will be held on Thursdays from October 16th through December 11th at the Welcome Centre Hall from 10-11am. The workshops will be led by Josephine Were, a performer and theatre-maker based in Adelaide, and will involve play, improvisation, storytelling, basic movement, and stretching in a safe and creative space for all participants.
