Josephine Were is a performer and
theatre-maker based in Adelaide. She
writes, performs live, and works with
audio storytelling site specifically.
Josephine trained in acting at The
Adelaide College of the Arts, with physical
theatre company SITI in NYC, and with the
clown teacher - Philippe Gaulier in Paris. She has recently
completed her MA in Performance Making at Goldsmiths
College, University of London. Locally, as an actor, she has
performed with the Vitalstatistix, State Theatre Company of
SA, and independently. She tutors in performance at The
Adelaide College of the Arts and with No Strings Attached -
Theatre of Disability.
Josephine has worked as a support worker with
unaccompanied minors and volunteered in an activity
program on Christmas Island. She is commitment to
creating a dialogue between the arts and human rights.
An open workshop for all that will involve
play, improvisation, and story telling.
We will also work with basic movement,
stretching, and play a lot.
Come along to have lots of fun, explore
and be creative in a safe space.
All welcome.
Please wear comfortable fitting clothing to play in.
