This document contains summaries of several upcoming global health and social justice related events at Ohio State University between April 29th and May 24th, including: 1) A panel discussion on May 5th about family planning in Nigeria and Pakistan featuring speakers from those countries. 2) A fair trade and tapas event on May 8th to support global artisans. 3) A global health photo exhibit from April 30th to May 14th showcasing global health issues. 4) A charity date auction on May 21st to benefit a local domestic violence organization. 5) Several volunteer opportunities to work at hunger lunches in May.

International ReproductiveHealth TalkMulti-purpose room of the Thompson Library on Wednesday, May 5th, from 7-9 PM,The panel will feature Dr. KarimaTunau, an OB-GYN from the UsmanuDanfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto, Nigeria, and Nabila ZarMalick, the Director of the Rahnuma Family Planning Association of Pakistan, who will each be talking about their personal experiences working in family planning in their respective countries

5. 4th Annual Global Health Photo ExhibitFriday, May 14 2010 in the New Union! Submissions will be due by Friday, April 302010.Submissions should seek to educate people about any aspect of global health including but not limited to health care for underserved populations within and outside of the United States, physical health care structures . With the photo please include a short caption, the location and year when the photo was taken and whether you are an undergrad, grad or professional student, staff, faculty or other.3 per person accepted

6. APhiO's 2nd Annual Charity Date AuctionFriday, May 21st 7-9:30pm, Mendenhall Lab Room 100 All bid proceeds will directly benefit CHOICES, which provides counseling, shelter, crisis intervention, education, and community and legal support and advocacy to central Ohioans facing domestic violence.
