Want to volunteer for FIRST LEGO League at the Hockaday School in Dallas? We still need 20-25 adult volunteers.
Application required - background check will be run on every volunteer.
Training January 8, 2011 9a-12p required. At the Museum of Nature & Science
Volunteers required to be at Hockaday for the tournament at 6:30 a.m. on January 29 and will be done around 5pm
Deadline for signing up is Thursday, December 30. See contact details to sign up.

This training reviews the 2013-2014 Donate Life Northwest Classroom Presentation program, and reviews the Power Point recommended for use in science (biology, anatomy, etc.) classrooms.
This online session serves as a substitute for volunteers unable to attend our Fall "Back to School" basic training. It is about an hour long.
This is a presentation that I used to give to Ohio State University freshmen as part of the First Year Experience program - it emphasized how diversity awareness and leadership development could positively influence their career achievement.

14. Chapters who sent representatives to the 2008 Institute earned $2,600 more per chapter than those who did not . Summer Institute This year’s Summer Institute will take place from August 5th – 9th at UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Summer InstituteGeneral Information For those who are not aware, the Summer Institute is a 5-day leadership training experience that is designed to prepare next year's leaders to run effective Nourish chapters. The cost is $150 (a limited number of need-based scholarships are available.) This covers the cost of lodging and food. Though Chapter Leaders typically attend, the Institute is also a valuable leadership opportunity for Exec Board members or general members, as well. We want to send as many people as we can from our chapter. What?!
