The National Human Rights Commission of India held its 10th winter internship program on human rights, which concluded on January 15. Fifty-five interns from 20 different states and union territories participated in the month-long program, the highest number so far. At the conclusion, the Acting Chairperson of NHRC congratulated the interns and urged them to promote and protect human rights as ambassadors, while also fulfilling their duties. He asked them to share what they learned with others. The internship aimed to educate post-graduate students in law, political science, social work, criminology, and human rights about various aspects of human rights protection.
