Ray Pidzamecky M.S.W. RSW says “Youth of today are the promise of the future and represent a tremendous untapped resource. They are energetic, positive and are extremely well positioned to support others in their peer groups. Immediacy, Engagement, and Immersion: Critical Pedagogy and the Study Abroad ...CIEE
Intentional, critically informed pedagogies are a means of developing and shaping the kinds of transformative experiences students should have. While much of the work in the field of international education emphasizes formal assessments, we’ll focus on critical pedagogy and how to best shape experiences that promote experiential learning, immediacy, engagement, and immersion that is both self-reflexive and respectful. We’ll consider approaches and methodologies that can be used for specific study abroad programs and the ways in which an ethos of deeply intercultural and experiential learning can inform campus and curriculum internationalization efforts.
MICATZ facilitates opportunities for students, groups and gap-year
students. Adventure holidays, wildlife programs, language and
cultural experience programs such as Swahili Language Study Abroad are also
offered.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

1. PATRIOTS GHANA KWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY(KNUST)
NEWSLETTER
Letter form the President
Dear National Coordinator, Board, Patron, Partners,
Members, other Campus Chapters and Supporters of Patrots
Ghana Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology (KNUST) Chapter.
My glorious gratitutde first of all goes to the most High, and
then to you all for the support, contributions and advice
towards the various successful activities and events of this
chapter throughout this academic year. This year was a
continuation of the Chapter’s movement of impact around
schools, where various talks were given on different topics
including Patriotism, Peace Keeping and Reproductive Health.
One of the many accomplishments of this year is, in
Partnership with the Young at Heart Ghana, we made
consecutive visitation at the Deduako Special School, as a
continuation of a project initiated in the previous academic
year.
The Chapter being able to implement projects in the fields of
Reproductive health, Peace keeping and Patriotism has been of
a great impact to both the patriots and the schools we visited. It
has therefore been a wonderful year though with limited time,
yet we pledge to continue with our effort towards developing
the nation with Passion. We have also initiated measures to
ensure the sustainability of the progress we have made and
would support the next group of patriots to lead this honorable
chapter. Like Kwame Nkrumah said
“Countrymen, the task ahead is great indeed and heavy is the
responsibility : and yet it is a noble and glorious
challenge….”We look forward making more impact in Ghana
everywhere we may find ourselves.
Thank You.
Abdul kadir Shamsiya
President.
