Victoria McCarty wrote a children's book titled "Dagah: The Great Fish" that tells the story of Jonah from the perspective of the whale that swallowed him. The book explores what it would be like for the whale, named Dagah, to be called by God to do something difficult, like leaving his home and swallowing Jonah. McCarty was inspired to write the story after wondering about the whale's point of view. She hopes the book will teach children that through faith in God, they can accomplish great things even when asked to do something scary or difficult. The book is published by Halo Publishing and illustrated by McCarty's sister.
